We are learning to identify a variety of poetry forms.
ASSESSMENT TASK /STRATEGY
Describe what students will be doing to address the learning goal(s) and identify:

Students will be provided with a ‘scavenger hunt’ list of poetry forms. Students will use the internet to find two examples of each poetry form. Students will look at poetry forms for commonalities and create a list of identifying features for each form.
Whole class will regroup to discuss the identifying factors students brainstormed for each poetry form.
